Sound Quality Evaluation and Analysis System CAT SQ

What is the Sound Quality Evaluation and Analysis System

CAT SQ?

CAT SQ is a sound quality evaluation and analysis system that not only measures the loudness of sound, but also objectively evaluates the sound quality —how humans perceive that sound.
CAT SQ quantifies "unpleasantness","roughness",and "sharpness", which cannot be explained by sound pressure level (dB) alone, as physical indicators based on international standards.
It is a sound quality evaluation and analysis system that objectively evaluates the "sound quality"—how humans perceive that sound—instead of the previous sound evaluation measured in dB. It can analyze loudness (steady-state, transient), sharpness, tonal evaluation (TNR, PNR), fluctuation intensity, roughness, etc.
It complies with ISO 532B and DIN 45631/A1.
